The character is a composer and tells the audience that they have written a show for them; coincidentally, the last song of the piece is performed in the same way. Now that the sound track for the show is nearly complete we're planning a trailer video for shows in 2022. Stay tuned for our casting call! 🎭

Movie Sound Studio Operations

Here's a picture of Dave's Movie Sound Studio Operations back East. This is where the new soundtrack for WYSIWYG is being created. It's a fairly complicated process since we're scattered across the country, but we've been able to make do in the new COVID age.

We start the process by identifying a song and exporting the audio and midi files from Finale and any relevant video performances excerpts from the show. There's some follow-up discussions to give the scene/songs context, but at some point Dave orchestrates the work. When it's complete we add a rehearsal track to the Soundtrap collaboration platform so the various actors can add their vocal parts remotely. Once they've added the parts we export the audio files from Soundtrap to create the master tracks.
